Uber is shutting down Drizly, the alcohol delivery app it bought in 2021 for $1.1 billion. Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty, Uber's SVP of delivery, confirmed the decision and stated that Uber will focus on Uber Eats. Drizly suffered a data breach in 2020, and the FTC ordered the destruction of collected personal information.
